Vitamin K2 in the form of MK-7 is crucial for calcium metabolism. This variant does not thicken the blood! It is essential to take it alongside vitamin D, especially if dosages exceed 10,000 IU. MK-7 aids calcium in entering the bones rather than depositing it in blood vessels or kidneys.

Relieves bone pain

If you are supplementing D3, ensure you take this. D3 increases calcium availability, and K2 is essential for transporting calcium from blood and soft tissues into the bones. Without K2 while on D3, hypercalcemia could occur, affecting your heart, brain, and bone strength and potentially causing kidney stones. Since starting this, my bone pain has regressed, my teeth are cleaner, and my skin has improved. I’m committed to this for life due to the scarcity of K2 in my diet.

Supports bone health

An additional intake of K2 has helped normalise my blood composition and strengthen my musculoskeletal system. It also protects against osteoporosis and promotes proper bone mineralization. This product is made from high-quality fermented raw materials and demonstrates maximum absorbance.
Bone pain is a discomfort or ache that originates within the bones themselves and can range from mild to severe. It is different from muscle or joint pain, as it directly affects the skeletal structure. Bone pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including injuries, medical conditions such as osteoarthritis or osteoporosis, infections, or tumors. Symptoms may vary depending on the underlying cause but often include a dull, penetrating ache that may worsen with movement or pressure.
If you're experiencing persistent bone pain, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Imaging tests like X-rays, MRI, or CT scans may be utilized to determine the root cause of the pain. Treatment can vary widely, ranging from medications to alleviate pain and inflammation to physical therapy or, in some cases, surgical interventions. Understanding the underlying cause is crucial to effectively managing bone pain and ensuring the best path to recovery.
Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin crucial for various bodily functions, particularly in the clotting process of blood. It exists in two primary forms: K1 (phylloquinone), which is primarily found in leafy green vegetables like spinach and kale, and K2 (menaquinone), which is found in fermented foods and certain animal products. Vitamin K plays a significant role in the synthesis of proteins that regulate blood coagulation and is also essential for bone metabolism, assisting in the binding of calcium to bones and other tissues.
Deficiencies in vitamin K can lead to increased bleeding and bruising, and in severe cases, it may contribute to bone weakness. While most people can obtain adequate amounts of vitamin K through a balanced diet rich in vegetables and fermented foods, those with certain medical conditions or who are on specific medications may require monitoring and supplementation. Incorporating a variety of nutrient-dense foods into your diet is the best way to ensure you get enough vitamin K for optimal health.
Vitamin K plays a critical role in bone health, primarily due to its involvement in the regulation of calcium within the bones and the blood. It is essential for the synthesis of osteocalcin, a protein that helps bind calcium to the bone matrix, thereby improving bone density and strength. Research suggests that adequate intake of Vitamin K may help reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures, which are often associated with bone pain in older adults. However, while it supports overall bone health, Vitamin K is not a direct treatment for existing bone pain. Individuals experiencing significant discomfort should consult with a healthcare provider for appropriate diagnosis and treatment options.
Incorporating Vitamin K-rich foods—such as leafy greens (like kale and spinach), broccoli, and fermented foods—into your diet can contribute to better bone health over time. Supplements may also be considered, particularly for those at risk of deficiency. Yet, it's important to note that any supplementation should be discussed with a healthcare provider to ensure safety, particularly for individuals on blood-thinning medications, as Vitamin K plays a role in blood clotting. In summary, while Vitamin K is beneficial for bone health, it is not a standalone solution for bone pain.

Effective combination

This K2 formulation contains MK-7, the most bioavailable variant sourced from natto beans. I take it daily with 5000 IU of vitamin D3, as D3 increases calcium absorption and K2 helps incorporate that calcium into bones and teeth. Without K2, calcium and D3 might build up plaque in arteries. This product is high quality, easy to swallow, and very affordable. I highly recommend it.
